Notes:
Northdown, bred for its downy mildew resistance is the offspring of Northern Brewer and Challenger and Target’s aunt. It is said to be good in the foundation of the boil, and is considered slightly richer in flavor than Challenger. Its flavor is considered fresh, flowery and piney with notes of berry and spice. Its alpha acid content hovers around 8% and is very high in myrcene oils.
